Guild Instructor: Welcome to the Howling Banshee fellow hunter, if you happen to be a Devil Fruit user then I highly suggest you turn your ass around and leave now because we don't want your kind here. On the other hand if you enjoy the thrill and challenge of a good hunt and have a hatred for those accursed Devil Fruit users then you may way have come to the right place. Here in the Howling Banshee Guild we focus primarily on hunting down those foul demons and boy do we have fun doing so, if you prove strong enough to join then you too will be able to prepare yourself to better combat them, and if you have the berri then we can supply you with the equipment to give you that necessary edge to help you take them down that much easier.
Our leader Kyoshiro, known to most as The Demon Wolf and the man holding the title of Worlds Strongest Swordsman, formed this Guild about some years ago as a way to cleanse this world of both Outlaws and Devil Fruit users at the same time; and as they say, if your good at something, never do it for free. By taking out those Devil Fruit users with bounties on their head we knock at kill two birds with one stone, while sending a message to all those other little birdies to keep their noses clean. Now we don't necessarily care about why you have a grudge against them or if you have one at all, but if you want to be apart of this "pack" as our fearless leader calls it, then there are a few things you will need to know and a simple yet not so simple task to complete.
First off you should know that the Howling Banshee have three base of operations, the first one being in the East Blue, Loguetown is a pretty busy place with plenty of activity with pirates coming in and out and a Marine barracks to cash in for their rewards. If you have yet to go to the Grand Line then this would be a good place for you to head over to if your interested in joining, though if you weren't interested in joining then I guess you wouldn't be here. You can find the Guild and its members on the western side of town at the Full Moon Bar & Inn, the entrance is in an alley so it may be easy to miss at first but just look for the sign with the Guild emblem on it, a three-headed wolf. Most people are welcome to come by and grab a drink but the Inn only houses Guild Members and will not serve Devil Fruit users at all. In order to join you will need to bring a Devil Fruit user who has a bounty of no less then 30.000.000 back to the bar alive before cashing in for the profit. Once you've done that then you are officially a member of the Guild and will be welcomed as a brother or sister to any of the Guild bases.
The second Guild Hall resides 10,000 meters bellow the oceans surface in Fishman Island, a very large building spanning about 3 stories and capable of housing close to a hundred hunters with a little room left over, though there is almost never this many there at one time. The Guild serves as a sort of police force and get paid by the bounties they capture there and around the island, even Marines have found it difficult to hold any real standing there other then to insure that the Guild gets paid their due. That said, the Guild Hall itself is near the center of the island so to make it easy for them to get anywhere they need to be rather quickly, they won't interfere with civil disputes as that is entirely up to the other inhabitants of the island but when pirates come through they are almost always ready for battle. Due to the strategic placement of this Guild Hall, it is almost impossible for most pirates to get into the New World without having a run in with the Howling Banshees but so long as they don't give any reason for their presence to be known, several crews have passed through unscathed though most are unsure as to whether they were ignored or if the Guild even knew they were there at all. The Guild has on several occasions caused some collateral damage to the island but is always expected to clean up their messes and pay for anything that is otherwise irreplaceable, this does not mean they pay for the damages to most buildings as they help with the manual labor but if something that can't be fixed or repaired gets damaged, that comes directly out of the Guilds treasury. In order to join through this Guild Hall you must bring them a Devil Fruit bounty of at least 300,000,000 and no less.
Lastly we have the Howling Banshees largest and most notorious Guild Hall, the Howling Banshee MKII, a massive battleship that serves as both a mobile fortress as well as the Guild Leaders primary battle station. Though any bounty hunter crew who align themselves with the Guild are allowed to fly its flag, this ship is without a doubt the worst fear for pirates to see on their horizon as it has an almost 100% capture rate due to the ships near indestructibility and overwhelming fire power, though not particularly slow, the ship is not nearly as fast as some other vessels but will stalk its prey from island to island until their targets give up on running. Unlike the other two Guild Halls, The Howling Banshee MKII is very specific about who joins their crew, you can't join unless you are already a member of the Guild and have shown great skill and promise on their own; and just as hard as it is to join this crew, its just as difficult to stay apart of it, you are expected to carry your own weight and when the Wild Hunt is called, if you take part then you better bring back a bounty or they will leave you behind to find your own way home, never to be allowed to join again. When wanting to be apart of this crew you must have already been a member of the Guild and present Kyoshiro and his crew a bounty of 500,000,000; this however also means that you must locate the Howling Banshee MKII all on your own after already capturing the bounty in question.
Oh right that reminds me, you don't even know what the Wild Hunt is do you? Okay well the Wild Hunt is as it sounds, a hunt, orchestrated by Kyoshiro from his ship alone, he is the only person allowed to call upon the Wild Hunt unless he says otherwise and to be apart of it is both a great honor among our guild as well as a great burden. When the horn sounds and initiates the hunt, Kyoshiro will have anchored the ship just off coast of a nearby island and expects anybody who wants to stay on board to participate, it is possible to be expunged of this burden on rare occasion but you are expected to join in more often then not. During these hunts there are some very strict guidelines that must be followed and to those that fail to follow them whether it by by accident or not, the consequences can be severe. Rule number one is that no civilians may be harmed by a member of the guild or by the actions of a member of the guild under any circumstances, to do so will not only result in termination from the Crew and Guild but will inevitably result in you acquiring a bounty which the Guild could very well collect on right then and there. The second rule would be that Marines are not to be harmed without extreme reason and even then you could be punished for it, most often the punishment is a forfeit to all bounties you had acquired during that night as well as a heavy scolding from Kyoshiro personally which I must tell you as being a witness to this on more then one occasion.. must be just as terrifying as the edge of his sword is to a Devil Fruit user. The last noted rule of these hunts is that ALL who participate during that night must bring back a bounty, if you don't then you will be removed from the crew but still allowed to be apart of the Guild, this is done either by leaving you on the island to fend for yourself or them taking you out to the middle of the sea and giving you nothing but a small boat to reach the next island all on your own without any more supplies then what belongs to you.
