What is a fic? It is a story which only you narrate and, thus, control entirely the outcome, except for the rewards. These rules are here to regulate the grading and the proper construction of fics, since it´s the standard way to get special items, new weapons, or berri.
-If you get less than a 5 or more than a 9 on the grade, you may edit your fic and ask for it to be graded again. Also, if the moderator gives the writer permission, they may edit regardless of grade. Editing takes away the right to ask for a second grading from another staff member.
-You may ask for a second grading from another staff member, losing therefore the right to edit, if you had it. The second grading will not involve editing, just different opinions from the staff. If the second and the first grading are too different, they will be added together, divided in two and that will be the final grade.
-A 10-grade technique, Haki, Awakening, etc. needs three staff members: the one that grades the fic, plus two administrators (or its equivalent, two global moderators per administrator) that would accept or deny the grading based on their own reading and grading.
What can you ask for?
Armament/Observation Haki: 8 points plus 0.5 per every two ranks. So 8 for D and C, 8.5 for B and A, 9 for S and SS, and 9.5 for SSS and EX.
Emperor´s Haki: 10 points plus approval from two admins or their equivalent in global mods.
Special Techniques: Something like Zoro´s Asura or the CP´s Six Powers. It takes a good training, coherent explanation, and some time. At least 7 points. Check the rules on technique power/grade for further detail.
Power Up: May be physical (stats) or something else, such as a Technique Power Up, Haki Power Up, or Devil Fruit Power Up. Check the technique guide for further detail. At least 7.5 points.
Devil Fruit:
6.5 - 7.5: Paramecia (depending on power and utility)
6.5: Herbivorous Zoan
7.5: Carnivorous Zoan
8: Prehistoric Zoan
8.5: Mythical Zoan
9: Logia
10: Legendary Chart Devil Fruit (This means the staff will make a custom chart to represent your DF´s growth in power as you level up, and of course the power of the fruit will be drastically increased. It may be any of the DF types seen so far, but will probably be stronger than in the series, or exactly as portrayed in them in cases like the Gura Gura or Ope Ope, whereas getting those as common Paramecia would make their powers go down a notch)
Getting a Legendary Chart Devil Fruit needs the approval of two admins or their equivalent.
Random Mode: You need at least 7.5 points and the approval of three admins or equivalents before you attempt this. In this mode, the admins will roll a die and inform you of the results and of what type of Devil Fruit you got, as well as decide a fitting Devil Fruit for your character based on the type that you got. If you ask for a particular fruit and the die allows you to get the same type as the one you asked, it shall be granted.
Legendary Mode: If you got a common table Devil Fruit at first, don´t worry, you may still get the Legendary version of the fruit, of course with lots of good training and 10 points, plus two admins accepting it.
Devil Fruit Item/Weapon: A very elaborate story with twists and complications; you don´t find these things anywhere. Devil Fruit´s grade plus 0.5 points.
Seastone: The staff will decide on the grade. A coherent story on how it´s gotten.
Special item: Before the fic, the item must be made in a post on the "Ask!" sub board, so the staff will discuss the necessary grade and tell you so that you then aim for that grade. Grade may go from 7 to 9 points according to its power.
Common Item: Steel swords, smoke grenades, staves, sticks, knives... anything not special.
Strange or Modified Item: It´s pretty much a different object with mostly the same functions. A double scythe, a gunsword, etc. Will need at least 6 points.
Money: It depends on the grade, and if they had a way to get that amount.
5 points: a million max
6 points: 5 millions max
7 points: 10 millions max
8 points: 100 millions max
9 points: 500 millions max
10 points: 1000 millions max
